Images from the first roll of Fuji 400 I put in the Zeiss Ikon found at the local thrift store. I shot the first roll unmetered since I wasn’t prepared to invest in a battery yet lol, but the process of guessing the light was so fun I might just leave it as is. It appears everything functions great—only small issue is the piece of gunk in the upper left of the frame 🤷‍♂️ This camera is like carrying a brick around, but it’s super fun to shoot with and makes amazing sounds when shooting and advancing the roll. So satisfying 😀 #35mm #film #fuji #zeissikon

I always get my hopes up when we go into any thrift shop I’ll find a jewel 📸 for very little money. Usually it’s all crap, but this time was different! I didn’t know much about the Ikon part, but the Zeiss hardware and glass caught my attention immediately. This thing is a tank and has some really neat features (and great typography) All seems to function perfectly. Testing a role of film now.
